Leonard Felder, PhD works with temples, synagogues, non-profit groups, Hillel events, adult education programs, and book fairs to design workshops and presentations that help audiences combine Jewish spiritual wisdom and psychological wisdom to deal more effectively with stress, overload, complicated people, and tough decisions.
A few of the responses he has received in recent years include:
“Jewish Family Service had the pleasure last week of hearing Dr. Len Felder as the keynote speaker for an annual community lecture which drew more than 250 people. His warmth and ability to connect with people are remarkable. In addition to sharing his knowledge, he is funny and engaging throughout his presentation. His versatility in drawing from multiple sources, including his ability to weave in Jewish texts and thoughts in a seamless and non-denominational way, made his talks resonate with all types of individuals who told me that they were touched and inspired by his vivid stories and practical examples. I highly recommend Dr. Felder and look forward to hearing him again in the near future.”
—Matt Greenberg, CEO, Jewish Family Service, Stamford, Connecticut
“That was one of the largest crowds we’ve ever had for a literary event. You were terrific not only with your depth and excellent teachings, but also with your humor and warmth. It’s wonderful when someone so knowledgeable about Judaism is also so accessible and enjoyable to study with. We can’t wait to have you back.”
–Joyce Lit, Jewish Book Fair Director, Austin, Texas
“I knew you were a good writer but I didn’t know what an amazing teacher and discussion leader you are. The entire congregation was so thankful that these holy teachings and important life issues could be explored in such a warm and lively way. Thank you for bringing your enthusiasm and your caring heart to us.”
–Rabbi Marc Sirinsky, Temple Emek Shalom, Ashland, Oregon
“I have the definition of a successful program—that is when students and faculty are still talking about your program a week later. Several people have commented how fascinating it was, especially your amazing breadth of knowledge of multiple spiritual and psychological traditions. People loved your approach and I must concur it was a wonderful experience.”
–Caty Konigsberg, Hillel Director, Occidental College, California
